Ramadan in my life.

Asslam-o-alaikum! to my lovely readers, I am not reviewing anything for you guys these days. I was without my camera and since my new camera is here now. I will now come up with my reviews. Phew!! got so much to do.

I have recently added an experiences category on my blog and here I will share my personal experiences with you all. Today’s experience is on RAMADAN. I am 25, and fasted for the first time at the age of 6. Since then I enjoyed every single RAMADAN.

RAMADAN is a blessing we all know but how many of us really avail this blessing? Doing sehri and iftari, gaining weight, attending lavish parties, spending hours and hours in malls, praying Taraveeh just few days. THAT’S ALL!! Is this enough? Off-course not. Ramadan is lot more than this. LOT LOT MORE.
It was March 2009, life started changing. ‘I started changing’. Realized what the hell I am doing with my life. Am I sent down to do NOTHING except worthless. And ALHUMDULLILAH  got blessed with many good changes in me. It’s all because of my almighty ALLAH (S.WT). From then till today I feel I couldn’t do much for this Holy month. I didn’t gather all the blessing of this month. On a thought I felt happy that these things makes me perform better and better but on a second thought I feel who knows I will see another Ramadan. Oh yes, I don’t know whether I will be able to publish this post or not. It’s 28th Ramadan and Yes, I again felt it’s gone.

I am seeing a thing in people now, they skip their FAST very easily as it’s an optional thing and can be left undone. And taking part so actively in EID preparations, going to the iftar/sehri parties. I feel sorry for them they can never feel the happiness of EID, real EID which is only possible for the ones who fast. I pray to ALLAH to give HIDAYAH to such people. Adding more, feel sorry for the transmissions which got on air this year. We have some black sheep sitting within us and these sheep are the fake representatives of ISLAM. Many brands marketed themselves.. ALLAH help us in following the right and true steps of our deen..AMEEEN

Coming on good things :), i enjoy cooking specially in this month. I am fond of making snacks and may be this is the reason I enjoy. This RAMADAN is very special for me for the fact that this is my first one after Engagement. So, my EID will be special too in sha ALLAH.. will share EID experience with you all too 🙂

Sharing few of my cooked snacks. They are not all obviously.  🙂
