This lipstick was in my review list from quite a long time. I don’t know how it get delayed but now here I am, representing my first lipstick from brand Anahilwa which is a sub-brand of Mikyajy.

I want Mikyajy, yes I want Mikyajy. This is how I was when I saw such good reviews about this brand. My friend got me this lipstick from Abu-Dhabi. The shade I have is from sub brand Anahilwa in shade 1(Riyadh). I like the concept of naming the shades to their cities.
I couldn’t resist when I saw it for the first time. Such a lovely glassy packaging with great quality. The lipstick has cute heart shaped embedded which fades with every use. I didn’t want to try the lipstick till I took pictures for this post :D.
Its not just packaging, I adore its fragrance too. It smells like a bubblegum. I literally felt like eating it. lolx…
Riyadh is a gorgeous pink, bright pink in fact which is vibrant and not completely matte. It is super pigmented and glides on lips easily and it reminds me of MAC lipstick. The color pay off is great and just a single coat and you are done. Although the shade is not just a perfect one for me. I feel it too bright for my skin tone (my friend is fair and she must have tried on her lips before getting it for me) I always need another color to tone down.
I have compared it to MAC lipsticks, now let me tell you why? From a mid-range brands when you get a creamy texture in lipsticks it gets patchy, at least for me because I have a habit of eating lipstick and most of the time it gets cracky and patchy. With MAC I never had such issues and after using many other brands I found Anahilwa is one of its kind. I won’t call it a dupe but yes it is comparable and the best part is, its not pricey at all.
Over all I am really happy with this lipstick and want to try other shades too. I really hope Mikyajy and all its sub brands to come in Pakistan officially.
