I think I have said this before that I am not into face washes but for some reason I wanted to try Himalaya Gentle Exfoliating Face Wash. This is the first time when I have used this brand. Check out my review to know the details.
About the product
A soap-free, daily use exfoliating face wash that effectively cleanses your skin and gently exfoliates dead skin cells. Apricot granules gently scrub off dead skin cells, help stimulate fresh cell growth and prevent formation of blackheads. Neem and Lemon deep cleanse and remove excess oil while Aloe Vera soothes your skin and maintains its natural moisture balance, leaving your skin fresh, rejuvenated and glowing, day after day.
- Apricot, Aloe Vera, Neem, Lemon, Red Lentil.
I have seen Himalaya’s advertisments but never got a chance to try anything. Last month in November when I went for grocery, while passing by the cosmetics section, this face wash suddenly caught my eyes and the reason was its packaging. Althouhg there is nothing special about the packaging and more or less all the face washes have approximately same kind of packaging. It is a transparent tube having a flip cap and I was able to see the red granules from the packaging, thats what fascinated me. I instantly picked it to read the ingredients and they were all in my favor. The ingredient list contains red lentil which I never used in any product. The red granules are the red lentil probably.
The consistency of the facewash is not watery but not thick as well and is semi-transparent in color. I also love the fragrance of the product which is a good mixture of apricot, aloe vera, neem and lemon. As I said the product has some red granules and that is the main USP for the product. These gentle exfoliates worked great on my skin without breaking it out. I am prone to harsh exfoliates and my skin immediately cracks.
The product lather up good and the exfoliates gently work on the skin and remove the dead skin. Since its a face wash it also caters the dirt part of the skin. My skin look fresh and radiant. For me a pea size of the product is enough. Massage your skin for a minute or two and then wash it off.
I have used almost half of the product and could not find any negative aspect. Isn’t it cool? I also got Himalaya Whitening Face Scrub with this (will review soon).
