My View

My brother got this face wash for his acne and major break out issue. He shave and probably the blade does not suit him and result breakouts. Normally he uses Oriflame Tea Tree Face Wash which is the best pick for him but then don’t know why he purchased this, thinking it can do well do. But after few washes he shifted back to the Oriflame one. Although, I  do not have major acne issue but occasional face breakout when I get my face waxed. Luckily or unluckily I was having my after wax break out and got a chance to try this product in full detail :D.

The first impression of the product was so refreshing, especially its fragrance. It smells like a fresh grapefruit. I am not a big grapefruit fan though but still feel like eating it and that is how I feel every time I use it. The size of the product is pretty impressive and the bottle comes with a pump dispenser which makes it easy to use. The product has a semi-gel kinda texture which feels soft on the skin and results in a good lather. So small amount of product can build a good amount of lather.

It does control the oil very well but makes my skin too dry which is quite obvious for the products having Salicylic Acid. My skin instantly felt soft, clean and fresh but it did nothing to my breakouts. What I noticed it may prevent you from breakout but it cant cure it. So that is the main reason why my brother did not like it.

For me this is a good facial cleanser, a good makeup remover but not a good face wash for daily use.

You may like it

  • Fragrance.
  • Has ability to control oil.
  • Lather good.
  • Available easily.

You may not like it

  • Dries out the skin
  • Do not cure the acne and breakouts.

  4. I have recently stopped using both Neutrogena and Dermalogica, as I felt like I was spending too much time futzing with those products and they didnt even work that well! My skin actually looks even better now, which has led me to using Citrus Clears Sensitive Wash. My routine is SO simple now – cleanse and moisturize with Citrus Clear (Wash & Moisturizer) each morning, apply my mineral powder makeup, and then cleanse and moisturize with at night! I love how easily my makeup comes off and I am even happier with my skin now than ever before!
