Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer- Brightener

Ever since Maybelline launched their age rewind concealer I wanted to try them badly. And since they are not launched yet in Pakistan I had to wait till a facebook page stocks them. In my previous post I mentioned that how obsessed I am getting with contouring and highlighting. This is my 3rd concealer in a month 😀

About the Product

Active Formula and Micro-Corrector Applicator erase dark circles, puffiness and fine lines instantly.

Why You’ll Love It

• Micro-Corrector Applicator micro-fills and smoothes.
• Active formula with Haloxyl reduces the look of puffiness and shadows while fading the appearance of under-eye circles.
• Apply neutralizer shade for extreme dark circles.
• Brightener shade adds a luminous touch.

For Best Results

Use applicator to apply concealer directly to under-eye area, blending in an outward motion.  Wipe off excess eye concealer with dry tissue only.  Do not wet applicator.

My View

The age rewind concealer comes in 6 neutralizing shades (Fair, Light, Medium, Honey, Neutralizer, Brightener 160).
I wanted to have something to brighten up my undereye so I went for shade Brightener. I think I still need to have shades light and medium. I absolutely LOVED it and want to try other shades too. They are super full coverage formula which is super easy to blend.

The product comes with a sponge applicator in a twisted packaging. You have to twist the bottom several times in start and then with every twist product comes out on the sponge. I have seen YouTubers applying it with brush but I apply directly with its sponge and blend it with my fingers.

Since I got the shade Brightener, it has a pinkish touch and that’s why I like to mix it with my other concealers. And the best it worked with my Nars Creamy Concealer in shade Custard. I still have to try it with Maybelline Fit Me concealer. And for my skin tone this particular shade do not hide my dark circles but it does a fabulous job of highlighting and that’s the reason I want to use it with their shade Light.

Everyone knows that I am a foundation hoarder and I love full coverage foundations even more and this concealer is a very natural looking full coverage concealers. It blends easily and does not crease at all. I have set this concealer under my eye with Anastasia Beverly Hills palette, my Inglot Translucent Powder and even with my Loreal Infallible Compact Powder and it worked great with all three.

In case you want to use this to hide acne or blemishes, I suggest it to apply with brush and not to use it directly because it can get contaminated with bacteria.

  1. Lovely ! You look absolutely flawless . I wanted to try it for the same purpose Nida but brightener seems a bit too pink for my liking. How about neutralizer or light?
